These pocket-sized installations are created in the style of Mexican exvotos – everyday materials reconstructed into offerings that can express gratitude or request a saint’s divine intervention. Like their inspiration, these Exvotos represent personal troubles and ailments. In contrast to actual ex-votos, these “Little Prayers” are portable altars that one can carry around, take out and look to whenever the need arises.
